1. Wooden Brushes

Wooden hairbrushes have delicate and natural bristles. So, you need to wash them with care.

  1. Toothbrush
  2. 1/2 cup hot water
  3. Few drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil

Mix Tea Tree Oil in water and let your hairbrush sink in it for 10-20 minutes. Gently brush the bristles to get all the hairs or dirt out.

2. Plastic Brushes

Plastic brushes mean no natural bristles or no woods. They need to be cleaned once in a week since they are made up of just plastic and they can dry easily. All we need is:

  1. Toothbrush
  2. A small amount of shampoo
  3. Warm water
  4. 1/2 Tbsp Baking Soda

Mix shampoo, and baking soda in 1 cup of warm water. Put your brushes in this mixture and let them rinse.  Wash them with a toothbrush and air dry them.

3. Paddle Brushes

Washing of paddle brushes is not as easy as for other hairbrushes. They are made up of quite sensitive material.  They can go an unpleasant smell or worse because of moisture. So, consider the manufacturer's instructions for their washing.
